Lagos, Nigeria – Maverick entertainer and activist Charly Boy has once again set the nation buzzing, this time teaming up with award-winning rapper and social commentator Falz in their latest project, “God of Men.”
But this isn’t just another collaboration—it’s a movement.
Against the backdrop of Nigeria’s endless political drama, religious manipulations, and social struggles, Charly Boy has announced the birth of an audacious idea: the Church of Common Sense International Ministries. Unlike the mushrooming “miracle centers” across the country, this church is unapologetically radical, grounded not in empty prophecies or staged miracles, but in truth, satire, and a demand for Nigerians to wake up and shine their eyes.
“No Dress Code, No Fake Prophecy—Just Pure Sense”
Charly Boy, known for his bold social criticism, describes the vision of this new “church” as a sanctuary for Nigerians who refuse to remain gullible. “If you wan wear singlet and boxer, abeg come. God no dey check Gucci. Na your brain and conscience concern am,” he quipped.
Unlike traditional churches that thrive on emotional manipulation, the Church of Common Sense will operate on a single prayer point:
> “Oh Lord, deliver us from politicians and fake pastors wey dey chop our destiny like ofe-owerri.”
This, Charly Boy insists, is the only deliverance Nigeria truly needs.
Commandments of Common Sense
The congregation won’t be bound by endless rules but by a handful of powerful, witty commandments:
Members must never fight online for politicians who don’t even know their fathers’ names.
Tithes will strictly be used to feed the poor, not fund private jets.
No waiting endlessly for miracles when what the nation needs is boreholes, jobs, and accountability.
No fake prophecies—only truth, conscience, and action.
All members are “repentant mumu’s” who refuse to be fooled again.
Not a Church, But a Wake-Up Call
While the Church of Common Sense is satirical in tone, its message is deeply serious. With Falz lending his fearless voice, “God of Men” doubles as both a protest anthem and a cultural revolution, mocking the hypocrisy of corrupt leaders and fake spiritual leaders while pushing Nigerians to rethink blind loyalty.
“The biggest miracle na when Nigerians begin use common sense. Imagine say everybody just stop to dey defend dia thief, no be national healing be dat?” Charly Boy declared.
The Sunday Service You’ve Never Seen Before
Forget holy drama, endless prophecies, and miracle “anointing water.” At the Church of Common Sense, Sunday service will be raw truth, kpangolo music, and the kind of madness that shakes a broken system.
Falz and Charly Boy are daring Nigerians to ask themselves: Will you keep being deceived—or will you join the movement of common sense disciples?
