In a show of deep respect and admiration, Hon. Oluwafemi Abolade Gabriel, popularly known as Yerima, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, as the revered monarch celebrates his 81st birthday today.
Yerima, a distinguished son of Ona Ara Local Government and a fast-rising people’s choice for state representation, described Oba Ladoja as a rare gem whose life and leadership embody resilience, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
In his goodwill message, Yerima emphasized that the Olubadan-elect’s journey remains a shining inspiration to leaders across generations.
“Kabiyesi, your life is a testament to service and sacrifice. You have stood tall in the defense of justice, fairness, and humanity, touching countless lives and setting an enduring example of true leadership. At 81, you remain a unifying force, a voice of wisdom, and a symbol of Ibadan’s proud heritage,” Yerima stated.
The Ona Ara-born politician, who is also the incumbent Leader of the House in Ona Ara Local Government and a two-term councillor, further lauded Oba Ladoja’s contributions to education, cultural preservation, and grassroots empowerment. According to Yerima, the monarch’s reign will continue to shape Ibadanland positively for generations to come.
He added:
“Your leadership has been a beacon of light, not only for Ibadanland but also for all who value truth, discipline, and the dignity of our people. Personally, I have drawn inspiration from your courage and consistency. On this special day, I join millions across Yorubaland to pray for your long life in good health, peace, and prosperity.”
Yerima concluded with a prayerful note, asking God Almighty to grant the Olubadan more years of impactful reign.
This message not only reflects Yerima’s genuine respect for tradition and culture but also underscores his brand as a youthful, visionary, and people-driven leader, steadily positioning himself as the next face of purposeful representation for the good people of Ona Ara Local Government.
