2027: APM Executives Visit Akinyele Council Boss, Hon Akinwole Akinleye, Salutes his Developmental Strides, Intensify Preparations for 2027 Polls

In a strategic move aimed at consolidating political alliance ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Executives of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Akinyele Local Government paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, at his office within the Local Government Secretariat, Moniya. The delegation, led by the APM Chairman in the local government, Mr. Akintomiwa Dahud, commended the council boss for his remarkable developmental strides, people-oriented policies, and unwavering commitment to grassroots governance. The visit also provided an opportunity for both parties to deliberate on the future of their political alliance and strategies for achieving electoral success in 2027.

Speaking during the meeting, Mr. Akintomiwa Dahud stated that the essence of the visit was to familiarize the APM leadership with the Executive Chairman and deepen collaboration between the APM and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He noted that the alliance forged between both political parties remains a significant political development capable of reshaping the electoral landscape in Akinyele Local Government and beyond. According to him, the visit was also aimed at solidifying the existing relationship between the two parties in order to ensure the successful delivery of all candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Also speaking, the APM Youth Leader in Akinyele Local Government, Engr. Oladimeji Peter, expressed appreciation to Hon. Akinwole Akinleye for creating a conducive platform for meaningful engagement and dialogue. He emphasized that the meeting demonstrated the commitment of both parties to work together in harmony and pursue a common political objective. Engr. Peter further stressed the importance of youth participation and collective efforts in sustaining the PDP/APM alliance, noting that such cooperation would undoubtedly strengthen the political structure required to secure victory for the party's candidates in 2027.

Responding, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, appreciated the APM executives for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting every initiative geared towards the success of the alliance. He highlighted several strategic measures already put in place under his leadership to ensure victory in the upcoming general elections. While praising his principal, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership, wisdom, and political foresight, Hon. Akinleye assured the APM executives of seamless collaboration and mutual respect. He described the alliance between the PDP and APM as a divine arrangement destined to produce electoral success and ensure the emergence of APM candidates victorious in 2027.

Corroborating the Executive Chairman's position, the Akinyele Local Government PDP Chairman, Hon. Salaudeen Lateef Babatunde (Baba Alaja), lauded Hon. Akinleye for his tireless efforts and strategic engagements aimed at guaranteeing victory for APM candidates in the 2027 elections. He disclosed that various mechanisms had already been established to facilitate smooth collaboration, effective coordination, and harmonious operations between the two parties. 

The meeting, which was also attended by the Akinyele Local Government Chief of Staff, Hon. Aderinwale Abideen Adeyemi, party leader Hon. Oyeniran Kunle, and other stakeholders, ended on a positive note with participants expressing optimism that the visit would serve as a significant pathway towards achieving a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections.
