The legislative arm of Ido Local Government Area, led by the Speaker, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale Jide, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late PDP stalwart and political patriarch in Oyo State, Chief Yekini Ayoade Adeojo, who passed away on April 4, 2025.
During the visit, the lawmakers expressed their heartfelt condolences and deep sorrow over the passing of a statesman whose contributions to politics in Oyo State and Nigeria were profound. They described Chief Adeojo as a towering figure whose legacy of leadership, service, and dedication to public welfare will be remembered for generations.
Special prayers were offered for the family, particularly for the Chairman of Ido LGA, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the son of the deceased. The lawmakers prayed for God’s strength and comfort for the family in this period of grief.
Reaffirming their support, the legislative arm pledged their continued loyalty and cooperation with Chairman Sheriff Adeojo, assuring him of unity and encouragement as he continues to serve the people of Ido, even in this challenging time.
