One Year On: Oyo Youth Agency Celebrates Impact and Inclusion

The Oyo State Government has been praised for prioritizing youth development through initiatives such as digital and hands-on skills acquisition, as well as involving young people in the state's governance structure.

This commendation was given by the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, during the first anniversary celebration of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, held at the State Secretariat. He urged leaders across the state to equip young people with the necessary tools, resources, and mentorship to help them succeed.

Several dignitaries at the event also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration for creating an enabling environment for youth empowerment and highlighted some of the state government's key achievements in youth inclusion and development.

The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Falana, welcomed attendees and encouraged youths to take an active role in governance, stressing the importance of their participation in decision-making processes. The event also featured performances by entertainment stakeholders from Ibadan, adding a festive atmosphere to the celebration.
