Condolence Message

On behalf of myself and the good people of Ona Ara Local Government, I, *Hon. Oluwafemi Abolade Gabriel (Yerima)*, extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the transition of *His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige I, the Olubadan of Ibadanland*.
To *His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde*, the Executive Governor of Oyo State; the *Oyo State Traditional Council*; the *President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII)*, Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole and his executive members; all affiliate clubs under the CCII umbrella; and the entire Ibadanland indigenes at home and in the diaspora — *Ẹ kú ara féra kú o, Baba ti lọ s’ọdọ Olódùmarè*.

Kabiyesi’s reign brought about an era of peace, progress, and royal dignity. A unifier in thoughts and actions, Oba Olakulehin was a beacon of hope, tradition, and wisdom. His leadership strengthened Ibadan’s cultural heritage and inspired a new generation of true omoluabi.

His passing is not just a loss to Ibadanland but to Yoruba land and Nigeria as a whole.

May God comfort the royal family, the Olubadan-in-Council, and all sons and daughters of Ibadanland during this period of deep mourning.
May the soul of our revered monarch rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy live on.

Signed:
Hon. Oluwafemi Abolade Gabriel (Yerima)
