Career Journey & Highlights
Evangelist Akinleye’s passion for gospel music blossomed early when he served as a choir leader in his local church, where his impactful leadership left an indelible mark. He later featured in Bukola Akinade’s “Shenwele Jesu” music video, filmed at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan, further solidifying his presence in the Nigerian gospel scene.
Before embarking on this album project, Evangelist Akinleye experimented with gospel hip-hop sounds, gradually evolving into the deeply motivational and worship-driven style he is known for today. His work with bands such as Precious Melody Band, founded by Evangelist Gbenga Ogo Oluwa, played a key role in sharpening his musical artistry.

“My music is about encouraging people to understand that God is the God of all possibilities,” says Evangelist Akinleye. “Through thanksgiving and supplication, we can make our requests known unto Him, and He will surely answer.”

Personal Journey
Coming from a musically gifted family, Evangelist Akinleye’s late mother strongly influenced his path. Although she never had the chance to record music herself, she encouraged his journey, and her legacy lives on through his songs. Despite financial and personal challenges, Evangelist Akinleye is committed to achieving what no one in his family has musically accomplished: impacting the world with gospel sounds that glorify God.
