Hon. Oluwafemi Abolade Gabriel (Yerima) Greets Nigerians on 65th Independence Anniversary 🎉🇳🇬
As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, Hon. Oluwafemi Abolade Gabriel (Yerima), a fast-rising political force and a sure upcoming candidate for Ona Ara State Constituency Representative, has called on Nigerians to unite, dream bigger, and put the interest of the nation above self.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the occasion, Yerima congratulated Nigerians across all walks of life while urging them to see beyond the challenges and focus on the limitless opportunities and potentials of the country.
> “On behalf of my family and the resilient people of Ona Ara Local Government, I extend heartfelt congratulations to all Nigerians as we celebrate our 65th Independence Anniversary. Our journey as a nation has not been without storms and trials, but every challenge we’ve faced is also a reminder of the strength, courage, and resilience of our people,” Yerima stated.
Highlighting the importance of unity, resilience, and visionary leadership, he emphasized that Nigeria has reached a point where citizens must consciously choose to put the country first in every sphere of life.
> “We cannot continue to be weighed down by the mistakes of the past. Now is the time to right those wrongs. We must be inspired, not by our divisions, but by the prospects of a new Nigeria – one where tribe, religion, and background will not matter, where opportunities are abundant, where the rich will flourish but the poor will be protected, where innovation is encouraged, and where every child has access to quality education,” he charged.
Yerima, who has consistently advocated for grassroots development, youth empowerment, and transparent representation, stressed that all hands must be on deck to rebuild the country, starting from the local level.
> “If Ona Ara prospers, Oyo State prospers. If Oyo State prospers, Nigeria prospers. It all begins with us taking responsibility at the grassroots. Together, we can chart a new path for our dear constituency, our beloved state, and our nation at large,” he added.
The Ona Ara-born politician assured his people of his unwavering commitment to service, promising that his vision is centered on creating policies that reflect the needs of ordinary citizens while promoting inclusivity, accountability, and sustainable development.
> “A greater, stronger, and more prosperous Nigeria is possible – but only if we choose to put the nation first. Let us not be divided by our differences but be united by the dream of the Nigeria we want to bequeath to the next generation,” Yerima affirmed.
