Connect Global Resources and Services Limited Formalises Development Agreement for Dugbe Commercial Project
Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria – January 2026
Connect Global Resources and Services Limited has formally executed a Building and Lease Development Agreement with representatives of the Opaleye Family, marking a significant step toward the development of a purpose-built shopping complex at Ekotedo Area, Dugbe, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Agreement provides for the official handover of a parcel of land situated within the Ekotedo axis of Dugbe, one of Ibadan’s long-established commercial corridors. The project is designed to enhance structured retail activity within the area while supporting local economic growth.
The Development Lease Agreement was executed between representatives of the Opaleye Family—Mrs. Oluremi Adejuwon, Mr. Abolade Opaleye, and Mrs. Oluwakemi Adetola Odunade—who acted for and on behalf of the beneficiaries of the Estate of the late Chief D.B.O. Opaleye, and Connect Global Resources and Services Limited, acting as the Project Developer.
Under the terms of the Agreement, possession of the land has been formally handed over to Connect Global Resources and Services Limited for the sole purpose of constructing a shopping complex consisting of twenty-eight (28) lock-up shop units. The development is to be executed strictly in accordance with the architectural drawings and design annexed to the Agreement.
In line with the agreed framework, the Developer will undertake the construction entirely at its own cost, ensuring delivery in accordance with the approved specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
The land subject to the Agreement is described as a parcel located at Ekotedo Area, Dugbe, Ibadan, Oyo State. The Agreement reflects the current land size of approximately 383.442 square metres, taking into account adjustments resulting from road expansion. A survey plan indicating the present dimensions of the land forms part of the contractual documentation.
