The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians and all residents of Akinyele, urging them to reflect on the significance of the season and embrace the enduring values of unity, love, and togetherness.
In a message made available through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, Hon Akinwole Akinleye expressed his heartfelt wishes for peace, joy, and prosperity across the local government, noting that Easter remains a symbol of hope and renewal for all.
Hon. Akinleye explained that Easter, which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, represents the triumph of light over darkness and the promise of new beginnings. He noted that the season calls for deep reflection, urging residents to draw inspiration from the sacrifice of Christ by living selflessly and fostering compassion in their daily interactions, as these virtues are vital for building a harmonious and progressive society.
The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government further emphasized the need for unity among the diverse people of the Local Government, stressing that collective strength lies in togetherness.
