As the month of August begins, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has extended warm New Month greetings to the people and residents of the council area, urging them to embrace love, unity, resilience and cooperation as the driving forces for greater development and lasting progress. He reaffirmed his administration's unwavering commitment to transforming Akinyele Local Government into a model local government through inclusive governance and people-oriented initiatives.
In a goodwill message released through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, the Executive Chairman described the beginning of a new month as an opportunity for renewed hope, fresh aspirations and a stronger resolve to build a more prosperous Akinyele Local Government. He appreciated residents for their steadfast support and encouraged them to remain united despite the challenges of the times.
"To the wonderful people of Akinyele Local Government, I warmly welcome you into the month of August. Every new month presents us with another opportunity to reflect, renew our hopes and strengthen our determination to build a better future together. Our greatest strength lies in our unity, our love for one another and our shared commitment to the progress of our local government. Let us continue to stand together, support one another and uphold the values that make our communities peaceful, vibrant and progressive."
Hon. Akinleye emphasized that resilience remains one of the defining qualities of the people of Akinyele, noting that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth and innovation. According to him, the collective determination of the people has continued to inspire his administration to work harder in delivering meaningful development across the local government.
He further stressed that sustainable development can only be achieved through collaboration among government, traditional institutions, community leaders, youth groups, women, and other critical stakeholders. He called on residents to remain active participants in governance by contributing ideas, supporting developmental initiatives and working collectively towards improving the welfare of the people.
Reaffirming his administration's vision, the Council Chairman pledged to continue providing purposeful and transformational leadership that reflects the exemplary governance style of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
