The Leader of the Ona Ara Local Government Councillors, Hon. Oluwafemi Abolade Gabriel, popularly known as Yerima, has extended his warm congratulations to Hon. Tosin Alabi on his installation as the new Mogaji of the Oloko Family Compound in Oja’gbo, Ibadan.
In a goodwill message, Yerima described the installation as a significant honour and a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Alabi’s leadership qualities, humility, character and commitment to the advancement of his people.
He noted that traditional titles carry responsibilities beyond prestige, stressing that the new position presents Hon. Alabi with another opportunity to promote unity, strengthen family bonds and contribute to the preservation of Ibadan’s rich cultural heritage.
Hon. Tosin Alabi, a former House of Representatives aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), was installed as Mogaji by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, at the Banquet Hall of the Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.
Yerima congratulated the new Mogaji on the historic occasion, expressing confidence that Hon. Alabi’s experience, leadership capacity and passion for service would positively influence his new traditional responsibilities.
According to him, the elevation is not only a personal achievement for Hon. Alabi but also an opportunity to deepen community development, foster peaceful coexistence and uphold the values and traditions handed down through generations.
He further prayed that Almighty God would grant Hon. Alabi wisdom, sound health, strength and divine guidance as he assumes his responsibilities as Mogaji of the Oloko Family Compound.
Yerima wished the new Mogaji a peaceful, successful and impactful tenure, while urging him to continue to use his position, influence and experience in the service of his family, community and Ibadanland.
