He reaffirmed his administration’s determination to consolidate the achievements recorded so far while pursuing more impactful initiatives that will further improve infrastructure, public services and the general welfare of residents across Akinyele Local Government.

In a goodwill message released through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, the Council Chairman described the beginning of September as an opportunity to assess the progress already made and strengthen the collective resolve to achieve even greater milestones. He expressed sincere appreciation to the people of Akinyele for their continued confidence, cooperation and support, stressing that the accomplishments of his administration have been made possible through the partnership between government and the people.

“To the good people of Akinyele Local Government, I warmly welcome you to the month of September. I am grateful for your continued support, cooperation and confidence in our administration. As we enter another month, let us remain united and committed to the progress of our communities. There is still much work to be done, and together, we can achieve even greater things for the people of Akinyele.”

Hon. Akinleye noted that his administration has remained focused on delivering practical projects and programmes that address the immediate needs of the people. He highlighted interventions in rural electrification and the installation of solar-powered street lights, provision of motorized boreholes, support for security infrastructure, improvement of healthcare facilities and other grassroots development initiatives as part of the administration’s commitment to making governance more impactful at the community level.

According to him, the administration’s development agenda is built around the understanding that government must remain close to the people and responsive to their needs. He assured residents that efforts would continue towards expanding access to essential services, improving public infrastructure, supporting community development and creating an environment where individuals, families and businesses can thrive.

The Council Chairman also called for greater cooperation among traditional institutions, community leaders, youth and women groups, religious leaders, political stakeholders and other critical partners in the development of Akinyele Local Government. He emphasized that sustainable development cannot be achieved by government alone, noting that the active participation and collective responsibility of residents remain essential to building stronger and more prosperous communities.

Hon. Akinleye further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the developmental vision of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, particularly in the areas of good governance, grassroots development, infrastructure, security, healthcare and improved service delivery. He pledged that Akinyele Local Government would continue to play its part in supporting policies and initiatives that positively impact the lives of the people.

Reflecting on the confidence recently reposed in his leadership, the Council Boss described the continuation of his administration’s mandate as a greater responsibility to serve and deliver more. He assured residents that his government would build on its existing achievements while exploring new opportunities to attract development, strengthen communities and improve the quality of life of the people.

The trust and confidence our people have placed in our administration inspire us to do more, reach more communities and deliver more meaningful results. We remain committed to responsible leadership, accountability, inclusiveness and development that reaches the grassroots.”

“As we journey through September, I encourage every resident to continue to support one another, promote peace and unity, protect our shared values and contribute positively to the development of our local government.
