In a remarkable display of endurance and craftsmanship, Nigerian fashion designer Oluwaseun Kuforiji has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records for completing the longest sewing marathon. From January 22 to January 26, 2024, Kuforiji sewed non-stop for 106 hours, 55 minutes, and 20 seconds in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Throughout this marathon, Kuforiji utilized only a needle and thread, completing a total of 18 outfits. Notably, within the first six hours, he crafted a full Agbada outfit, underscoring his speed and precision.
