After America Trip, Radical Brother Returns to Ring Bell of Curse for Senator Alli in Front of Ladoja’s House

Radical Brother Returns From America With Fresh APC Drama, Publicly Accuses Senator Alli of Betrayal

The ever-controversial Honorable Oluwasegun Olaleye, popularly known in Oyo political circles as “Radical Brother,” has once again stirred conversations across Ibadan and the wider Oyo political space following his dramatic public outburst against Senator Sharafadeen Alli.

Known for his unpredictable political moves, loud activism, and street-style political engagement, Radical Brother recently resurfaced in Oyo State after a prolonged stay in the United States. His return has already generated fresh controversy within the All Progressives Congress (APC), especially after a viral incident reportedly linked to Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District.

Political observers in Oyo State have long described Radical Brother as one of the most unconventional grassroots politicians in the state. Over the years, he has moved between major political parties, beginning as an elected APC lawmaker before defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), only to later return to the APC again. His repeated movement across party lines has made him both a controversial and familiar figure in the state’s political landscape.

The latest drama reportedly unfolded around the Bodija residence of former Oyo State Governor and current Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Reports circulating online and across local political discussions claimed that Radical Brother was seen arriving in a Lexus SUV while carrying what witnesses described as a church bell.

Eyewitness accounts alleged that he publicly raised the bell while making statements directed at Senator Sharafadeen Alli, popularly known as BSA. In videos and reactions shared across social media platforms, Radical Brother was quoted as accusing the senator of betrayal and political cheating.

Although the exact details of the alleged disagreement remain unclear at the time of filing this report, the development has added another layer of tension to the growing political realignments already taking shape ahead of the 2027 Oyo governorship race.

Senator Sharafadeen Alli has recently become one of the most discussed names within the Oyo APC following endorsements and consultations linked to the party’s future leadership direction. Several APC stakeholders and support groups have openly projected him as a strong contender in the state’s 2027 governorship calculations.

The senator, a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government under the administration of Rashidi Ladoja, currently represents Oyo South in the National Assembly and has remained influential in APC politics across Ibadan and Oyo State generally.

However, the latest confrontation involving Radical Brother has once again exposed the internal disagreements, personal grievances, and loyalty battles that continue to shape politics within the Oyo APC.

Many political observers believe Radical Brother’s dramatic style is part of what keeps him politically relevant despite his fluctuating party affiliations. His supporters often describe him as fearless and outspoken, while critics see him as a serial political agitator who thrives on controversy and public spectacle.

Social media users have also reacted differently to the incident, with many treating the episode humorously because of the unusual use of a church bell during the confrontation. Others, however, argued that the situation reflects deeper frustrations among grassroots politicians who feel sidelined in ongoing power negotiations within the party.

As of the time this report was compiled, Senator Sharafadeen Alli had not officially responded to the allegations or public statements credited to Radical Brother.

With political activities gradually intensifying ahead of the next electoral cycle in Oyo State, many analysts believe more internal confrontations, alliances, and dramatic public episodes may still emerge within the APC and other major political parties in the state.
