The Beatles Unveil 'Anthology 4' and Remastered Documentary Series in 2025

In a monumental celebration of their enduring legacy, The Beatles have announced the release of Anthology 4, a new compilation album featuring 13 previously unreleased demos and session recordings. This release is part of a broader revitalization of the band's Anthology project, which includes a remastered and expanded version of the original 1995 documentary series and a 25th-anniversary edition of *The Beatles Anthology* book.

🎶 Anthology 4: Unearthing Hidden Gems

Set to release on *November 21, 2025, Anthology 4 offers fans a rare glimpse into the band's creative process with 13 unreleased demos and session recordings. The album also features newly remixed versions of "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love," utilizing advanced de-mixing technology to enhance John Lennon's original vocals. These tracks, along with the 2023 release "Now And Then," represent the final collaborative efforts of the band members.

The album will be available in various formats, including deluxe 12LP 180-gram vinyl and 8CD box sets, as well as digital platforms. Each physical box set includes original sleeve notes for Volumes 1–3, new track notes by Kevin Howlett, and an introduction compiled from 1996 interviews with Beatles' confidant Derek Taylor. Exclusive editions from The Beatles Store will also feature four 12-inch band photo art cards in a numbered envelope.

📺 The Beatles Anthology Documentary: Now a Nine-Part Series

Coinciding with the album release, a remastered and expanded version of The Beatles Anthology documentary series will premiere on Disney+ starting November 26, 2025. Originally aired in 1995, the series has been restored and now includes a brand-new ninth episode featuring previously unseen behind-the-scenes footage of Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr from the 1994–1995 recording sessions. 

The restoration project is helmed by Peter Jackson's Wingnut Films and Park Road Post, the team behind the acclaimed The Beatles: Get Back series. Giles Martin, son of original Beatles producer George Martin, has created new audio mixes for much of the music featured in the series.

📚 The Beatles Anthology Book: 25th Anniversary Edition

Adding to the comprehensive Anthology experience, a special 25th-anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology book will be released on *October 14, 2025*. This edition offers personal reflections from all four Beatles and close collaborators, accompanied by over 1,300 images, letters, and memorabilia. The book provides an intimate look into the band's journey, capturing their thoughts and experiences in their own words.
