2027 Presidential Race: PDP Supporters Rally Behind Governor Seyi Makinde as Southern Hopeful

The Brave New Vision Support Group, led by PDP chieftain Dr. Adetokunbo Pearse, has called on South-West PDP members to unite in support of Makinde's candidacy, citing his exemplary leadership and the need for regional representation.

Dr. Pearse emphasized that the PDP does not restrict presidential candidacy by region, and with the national chairman's position likely remaining in the North, the presidency should be zoned to the South. "From all indications, the national chairman’s position will continue in the North and the presidential ticket will go to the South," Pearse stated.
