Following our earlier report on the decomposing corpse discovered at the Sango median opposite WEMA Bank, Ibadan, we are pleased to announce that Ibadan North Local Government, in collaboration with the Oyo State Environmental Task Force, Oyo State Waste Management Authority (OYOWMA), and the Ministry of Health, has responded swiftly and decisively to address the situation.
The prompt intervention by the Ibadan North Local Government environmental and health officers prevented what could have become a serious public health hazard for residents, traders, and commuters in the busy Sango axis.
