Asejere Youths Vanguard Inaugurates Central Executives To Mobilise Support For Accord Senatorial Candidate

A youth-based political mobilisation group, Asejere Youths Vanguard, has inaugurated its Central Executive Council to strengthen grassroots engagement and coordinate youth participation ahead of the 2027 general elections in Osun Central Senatorial District.

The group said the newly constituted executive would provide leadership for its activities, promote community development initiatives, and encourage greater involvement of young people in democratic processes.

According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Comrade Adigun Olaide, the organisation was established in recognition of the vital role of youths in shaping the political and socio-economic future of society.

He explained that the movement seeks to unite young people under a common platform dedicated to leadership development, political awareness, civic engagement, and community service.

Adigun added that one of the group's primary objectives is to mobilise support for Aare Abdulganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, the Accord Party's candidate for the Osun Central Senatorial District in the 2027 National Assembly election.

He said the organisation would serve as a grassroots platform for canvassing support for the candidate, educating voters on his programmes and vision, and ensuring active youth participation throughout the campaign period and beyond.

The newly inaugurated executive is led by Comrade David Ojewale, popularly known as D'Senator, as Coordinator, while Comrade Adigun Amidat A., also known as Rebel Jnr., will serve as Deputy Coordinator.

Other members include Comrade Job Francis (Ómó Imole), General Secretary; Eleniyan Amos Oyeyemi, Spokesperson; Comrade Agboola Tobiloba Richard, Treasurer; Comrade Salahudeen S. Olawale, Organising Secretary; Ogundare Rasheedat Olaide, Welfare Director; Comrade Ibukun Adekanmi, Assistant General Secretary; Okedokun Afeez, Financial Secretary; Comrade Abioye Adedayo David, Director of Community Engagement; Adesokan Rofiyat O. (Obinrin Lokan), Director of Mobilisation; Adeyeye Ayobami B. (Portable Mama), Director of Women Mobilisation; and Rt. Hon. Fatomi Dare Hameed, Director of Students Engagement.

Adigun formally inaugurated the executive council and charged its members to remain committed to the vision and objectives of the movement.

He urged them to build a formidable youth-driven structure capable of contributing meaningfully to political participation, grassroots development, and the advancement of the people of Osun Central Senatorial District.

The inauguration comes as political groups and support organisations continue to strengthen their structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
