HIJRAH 1448AH: A TIME TO RENEW OUR FAITH, EMBRACE THE RENEWED HOPE AGENDA, AND STRENGTHEN THE BONDS OF UNITY — HON. LANRE JINADU FELICITATES MUSLIM UMMAH

As Muslim faithful across Nigeria and the world commemorate the beginning of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448AH, a prominent progressive leader, dedicated supporter of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Renewed Hope Ambassador for Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Lanre Jinadu, has extended warm felicitations and heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah.

In a goodwill message released to mark the sacred occasion, Hon. Lanre Jinadu called on Muslims and all residents of Ibadan North to reflect deeply on the timeless lessons of the Hijrah, which symbolize sacrifice, perseverance, unwavering faith, courage, leadership, and commitment to a greater cause.

According to him, the Islamic New Year presents another opportunity for citizens to renew their dedication to God, strengthen the spirit of national unity, and contribute meaningfully to community development in line with the Renewed Hope vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

His Message Reads:

"Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

To the Muslim Ummah in Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria, and across the world, I heartily congratulate you on the commencement of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448AH.

This remarkable occasion reminds us of the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), a journey that remains one of the greatest examples of sacrifice, resilience, courage, visionary leadership, and steadfast faith in the Almighty Allah. The Hijrah teaches us that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth, transformation, and ultimate success when guided by faith and determination.

As we enter this new Islamic year, I urge every Muslim faithful and indeed all citizens to embrace the values of peace, tolerance, discipline, integrity, compassion, and selfless service to humanity. These virtues are essential for building a prosperous, united, and progressive society.

At this critical period in our nation's development, the lessons of Hijrah resonate strongly with the Renewed Hope Agenda being championed by our dear President and leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Just as the Prophet (SAW) demonstrated courage and foresight in leading his followers towards a better future, we must remain hopeful, resilient, and committed to supporting policies and initiatives that promote sustainable development, economic growth, social inclusion, and national prosperity.

I call on our religious leaders, community stakeholders, political actors, youth groups, women, and residents of Ibadan North to continue fostering unity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual understanding irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political differences. Development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, stability, and collective responsibility.

I particularly urge our youths to remain focused, law-abiding, productive, and optimistic. The future belongs to those who prepare for it through hard work, dedication, and positive engagement. Let us reject all forms of violence, divisiveness, and social vices while embracing education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.

As we celebrate Hijrah 1448AH, let us also remember the less privileged among us. The essence of Islam teaches kindness, generosity, and compassion. By extending support to the vulnerable and uplifting those in need, we strengthen the moral fabric of our communities and create a society where everyone can thrive.

May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us abundant blessings in this new Islamic year. May He bless our families, grant peace to our communities, strengthen our dear nation, Nigeria, and guide our leaders towards greater wisdom and success.

May Hijrah 1448AH usher in renewed opportunities, divine favour, good health, prosperity, and lasting happiness for all.

Happy Islamic New Year to the Muslim Ummah.

Hijrah Mubarak!"
