The Network for a United Oyo has congratulated the Governorship Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, and his running mate, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, on their emergence as the party’s flag bearers for the forthcoming governorship election.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the group, Aare Adeniji Samuel, the Network described the emergence of the Adekanmbi-Salawu ticket as a significant development in Oyo State’s political landscape,the group noted that the combination of experience, competence, and grassroots appeal represented by the duo offers hope for effective and inclusive leadership.
The Network expressed confidence that Hon. Adekanmbi and Engr. Salawu possess the qualities needed to provide purposeful leadership and drive sustainable development across the state.
The group also commended leaders and members of the PDP/APM for the peaceful and transparent process that culminated in the emergence of the candidates,it urged party faithful and supporters to remain united and conduct themselves in a manner that promotes issue based politics and peaceful engagement.
While wishing the candidates a successful campaign, the Network for a United Oyo reaffirmed its dedication to the ideals of good governance, democratic values, and the collective aspiration for a prosperous, united, and progressive Oyo State,the statement prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for Hon.
