OJO Mourns the Passing of Hon. Abimbola Hakeem Oladipupo (Able), Describes Him as a Pillar of Grassroots Politics in Ibadan North-West

The aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo (OJO), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of respected political figure and community leader, Hon. Abimbola Hakeem Oladipupo, popularly known as “Able.”

In a heartfelt condolence message made available to the public, Hon. Ogunbayo described the late politician as a committed grassroots mobilizer, a bridge-builder, and a man whose passion for the progress of Ibadan North-West earned him the admiration of both political associates and ordinary residents across the constituency.

According to OJO, the death of Hon. Able is not only a painful loss to his immediate family but also a great setback to the political structure and developmental aspirations of Ibadan North-West and the larger Ibadan political landscape.

“It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I received the sad news of the passing of one of our respected leaders, Hon. Abimbola Hakeem Oladipupo (Able). His demise has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill because he was a man deeply committed to the growth, unity, and political advancement of our people,” OJO stated.

The frontline House of Representatives aspirant further noted that the late Hon. Able dedicated a significant part of his life to community service, political mentorship, and the strengthening of grassroots participation in governance. He described him as a dependable ally whose words of wisdom, political experience, and calm approach to leadership impacted many upcoming politicians and youths within the constituency.

“As a leader, Hon. Able was known for his humility, accessibility, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. His contributions toward community development and political stability in Ibadan North-West will forever remain part of our collective history,” he added.

Hon. Ogunbayo also extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, political associates, friends, supporters, and all members of the political family mourning the departed leader. He prayed for divine strength and comfort for everyone affected by the painful loss.

“At moments like this, words often fail to fully capture the pain in our hearts. However, we take solace in the impactful life he lived and the positive legacy he left behind. I pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljanah Firdaus, and gives his loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement read.
