Putting People First: Hon. Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo (OJO) Unveils People-Centered Agenda for Oyo Northwest/Southwest

As the new month begins, Honorable Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo (OJO), a leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives seat in Oyo Northwest/Southwest Constituency, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to a leadership style that prioritizes the real needs of the people.

Speaking on his vision for the constituency, Ogunbayo emphasized that leadership must go beyond words and translate into visible, practical impact in the lives of everyday citizens.

“Leadership is not about occupying a position; it is about improving lives in meaningful ways,” he stated. “Our people deserve access to basic services that support their health, their families, and their future.”

As part of his People First agenda, Ogunbayo announced an initial healthcare intervention that will see 1,000 constituents benefit from free medical services immediately after he secures his party’s ticket. According to him, access to quality healthcare should not be a privilege, but a right that every citizen can enjoy without hardship.

He further outlined plans to strengthen emergency response within the constituency through the provision of a fully equipped ambulance. This, he explained, will significantly improve response time during medical emergencies and contribute to saving lives across communities.

Understanding the economic realities faced by many families, Ogunbayo also addressed the challenges parents encounter in ensuring consistent school attendance for their children. To ease this burden, he revealed plans to introduce school transportation support through the provision of buses that will safely convey children to and from school.

“These are not just ideas on paper,” he added. “They are deliberate, actionable steps that reflect my commitment to building a constituency where healthcare is accessible, families are supported, and every child has a fair opportunity to succeed.”

Ogunbayo concluded by calling on constituents to join him in shaping a future defined by responsive governance, inclusive development, and people-driven leadership.

“The journey to real progress has already begun,” he said. “And it starts with all of us coming together to make it happen.”
