Reports emerging from the ongoing security crisis involving the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State indicate that the suspected kidnappers have allegedly presented a list of demands to the state government as a condition for the release of their captives.
According to information circulating from sources familiar with the situation, the armed group is demanding the payment of ₦1 billion, reportedly to be transferred into a designated bank account located in the Republic of Benin.
