The House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo (OJO), has expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God following the successful rescue and safe return of the sister of the Honourable Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, alongside her twin children after a period of uncertainty and concern.

In a goodwill message made available to the public, Hon. Ogunbayo described the development as a moment of relief not only for the immediate family but also for all well-meaning Nigerians who had followed the situation with prayers and hope.

According to him, the safe rescue of the victims is a testimony to the power of faith, collective prayers, and the relentless efforts of the nation's security personnel who continue to put their lives on the line in the service of the country.

"Today, we join the Adelabu family, friends, associates, and the entire people of Oyo State in giving thanks to Almighty God for the safe rescue and return of Madam Adelabu and her twin children. This joyful outcome reminds us that God remains faithful and that hope should never be lost even in the most challenging circumstances."

Hon. Ogunbayo further extended his appreciation to the security agencies and all stakeholders involved in the rescue operation, noting that their professionalism, courage, and dedication deserve recognition and support from the public.

"Our security operatives continue to make enormous sacrifices to safeguard lives and property. While much remains to be done in addressing the security challenges facing our nation, moments like this reinforce our confidence in the capacity of our security institutions when adequately supported and motivated."

The federal lawmaker hopeful also used the opportunity to sympathize with families whose loved ones remain in captivity across different parts of the country. He called for sustained efforts by government authorities, security agencies, community leaders, and citizens to ensure that every Nigerian held against their will regains freedom and reunites with their families.

"My thoughts and prayers are with every family still experiencing the pain and uncertainty of having loved ones in captivity. As we celebrate this rescue, let us not forget those who are still waiting for good news. We pray that God grants them strength and comfort while empowering our security agencies to secure their safe return."

Hon. Ogunbayo reiterated his commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that strengthen community policing, intelligence gathering, youth engagement, economic empowerment, and strategic security reforms capable of addressing the root causes of insecurity.

As an aspirant seeking to represent the good people of Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, he emphasized that the protection of lives and property remains a fundamental responsibility of government and a critical pillar of sustainable development.

He urged residents of the constituency and Nigerians at large to continue supporting security agencies with credible information, remain vigilant, and foster unity in the collective pursuit of a safer and more prosperous nation.

"To God alone be all the glory for this safe rescue. May He continue to protect our families, guide our leaders, strengthen our security personnel, and grant freedom to every innocent person still in captivity."
